Starters:

1) Chef’s homemade winter vegetable soup with herb croutons and basil cream.

2) Fountain’s classic prawn and crayfish cocktail with chef’s own made Marie Rose, and bread & butter.

3) Chef’s homemade pate with salad leaves, red onion marmalade and warm toast.

Main:

4) Succulent roasted turkey parcel, wrapped in streaky bacon and stuffed with sage & onion, with cranberry, chipolata and pan gravy

5) Classic roasted mustard glazed sirloin of beef with Yorkshire Pudding and rich red wine gravy.

6 Mediterranean roasted vegetable filo tart glazed with brie and balsamic syrup. All accompanied by rosemary roasted potatoes and selection of fresh seasonal vegetables.

Dessert:

7) Chef’s homemade apple crumble served with creamy custard.

Homemade white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake with Devon pouring cream.

9) Clotted cream bread and butter pudding with a Devon vanilla ice cream.

All this for just £12.50 per head including a cup of tea or coffee.

We will also be entertained by local prestidigitator “David Merlin.”

Well every body things are going from strength to strength and I hope that those of you who are not in the show are coming to see it.  The prices are £6.00 for adults and £4.00 for under 14 years. These will go on sale in the Fairplace shop from 8th February.

Sorry everyone I forgot the to mention the walk in the newsletter. This will take place on the 6th September please let Allan know if you are coming so that he can bake the scones and clot the cream.

The rehearsals of this will start on 26th August in the Fairplace Church at 7.30 pm. Everybody 8 years and over are welcome to come and join this show please tell all those who you think might be interested in the show.  If you can’t make this evening and are interested please let Roger or Stan know.

The committee have decided that we will be doing another productions next year this will be a play which hopefully will be produced by a new director, Perry Vallance, and we will be holding a play reading for everyone on Thursday 30th July in the Fairplace Church complex at 7.30 pm. Please come to this as we are going to read the play “Don’t Get Your Vicars In A Twist” which we are told is very funny. Please come along as these evenings have been found to be great fun.

 Well the auditions went well and all the cast has been found. Now we have to get down to the rehearsals. We have booked to begin these on Wednesday 26th August at 7.30 in the Fairplace Church. Any member who is eight years or over is welcome to come along. The dates for the production are 22nd to 27th of February inclusive. At the moment we will be rehearsing on the Wednesday nights only but be prepared for extra when we get closer. Also be prepared to be available the week before the performance as we may be rehearsing all this week.
