This will be taking place at the Fountain Inn on the 19th March and this is the menu:
Starters:
1) Chef’s homemade winter vegetable soup with herb croutons and basil cream.
2) Fountain’s classic prawn and crayfish cocktail with chef’s own made Marie Rose, and bread & butter.
3) Chef’s homemade pate with salad leaves, red onion marmalade and warm toast.
Main:
4) Succulent roasted turkey parcel, wrapped in streaky bacon and stuffed with sage & onion, with cranberry, chipolata and pan gravy
5) Classic roasted mustard glazed sirloin of beef with Yorkshire Pudding and rich red wine gravy.
6 Mediterranean roasted vegetable filo tart glazed with brie and balsamic syrup. All accompanied by rosemary roasted potatoes and selection of fresh seasonal vegetables.
Dessert:
7) Chef’s homemade apple crumble served with creamy custard.
Homemade white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake with Devon pouring cream.
9) Clotted cream bread and butter pudding with a Devon vanilla ice cream.
All this for just £12.50 per head including a cup of tea or coffee.
We will also be entertained by local prestidigitator “David Merlin.”
